About Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology

The professional diploma course in Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology was started at our polytechnic in the year 2006-07 with the intake of 40 students. We are proud for the fact that the stream of diploma in AD&FT course was introduced at our institution for first time in entire district of Ballari . So, we are pioneer in starting this course at ballari. This Diploma course equip students with an extensive theoretical knowledge as well as it Develops professional & practical skills.

The course is delivered by using modern means of educational techniques & computerized designing skills which are an integral part of the curriculum & the modern society. This course provides a solid foundation to build successful career in the booming field of Fashion designing. Students are exposed to industrial visit at textile Units, Garment Factories & Boutiques during their course of studies.

After completion of this course students can join 2nd year B.Sc (FAD) through lateral entry. After B.Sc they can also join M.Sc in Textiles & Clothing Apparel Technology Management and M.Sc Fashion Designing. Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology is a course that expects no extra ordinary skills but it promises glorious future.
