The department was started in the year 1997,with an intake of 60 students offering Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering. In these 24 years of academic services, the department has grown up steadily.

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of CSE. Our College is one of the premier institutions, unique like a prism reflecting the manifold shades of learning and co-curricular activities. The very motto of our department is to provide quality education.  The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career.

Hence on behalf of our Computer Science and Engineering, I welcome you all to CSE Deptt, hskp.

Computer Science and engineering branch Imparts education in hardware and software relating to computer which is an integral part of all processing in almost all fields for the three years. They study variety of subjects which make them industry ready.

Our innovative institution gives serious students like the skills needed to launch successful careers.  Through high-quality academic programs that offer a unique blend of teaching, research and hands-on service that strengthens the ability to solve problems, students can expand their knowledge base, work independently, think critically and find new ways to apply science to benefit society. Students are offered hands-on experience; get one-to-one mentoring and the opportunity to work on research projects each year.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering commits to work towards developing Engineers with a rich blend of competent, technical, managerial and social skills and contribute to nation building. Department places emphasis on all the important aspects of computers such as Computer Networks, Mobile Communication, Algorithm Design, Operating System, Advance Database Systems, Theory of Computation , Computer Graphics and many more.

Department takes the initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently. To meet the objectives, department pays special emphasis on teaching and hands on practical work. Students exhibit their innovative ideas, skills and potentials as final year projects. The excellent infrastructure, experienced team of faculty dedicates to strengthen effective teaching learning process ensuring quality education.

We believe that this approach to teaching-learning, coupled with practical experience gained during Industrial Training in reputed organizations, equips our students to handle the challenges posed by the IT industry. Students of Computer Science and Engineering are placed with top IT companies.

Along with academic knowledge, CSE also trains its Engineers to face the challenges in life by providing many value added courses to enhance their career prospects.
The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to its students.

Thus, we are confident that our Engineers will emerge as assets not only to this institution and to the organization they belong, but also to the country at large.
